From May 30th to June 1st, in Bucharest, the second international meeting of “Novis – no violence in sport” took place, the project financed by the European Community.
The project envisages the implementation by 2020 of a support format for school teachers, sports coaches, parents, children and teenagers in order to prevent violence in sport.
Videos, manuals, games and many other supports have been put into production in order to raise awareness of what is now becoming a scourge not only in the professional sports world, but also in that of amateurs and youth sectors.
The European work team, composed of 10 partners, was hosted at the Institutul National de Cercetare pentru Sport, the famous home of Romanian gymnasts.
